"Why do we not have a proper RWD hatch from Toyota?"

I should probably explain that both of us went to Vietnam, but at separate times. I went back in the summer of 2012 while he just came back from December, 1 2013 to January 10 - and he spent his time riding in a Vinasun Toyota Innova G.

To be honest, the Innova is powered by a weak 2.0 1TR engine and it's a live-axle vehicle. Not exactly perfect in Vietnam, not exactly perfect here.

Edit: Whoops, I forgot a part of the conversation - he also wanted to know why the Hiace is not in the lineup as well as the Crown.

It's cost 30-40k here in Indonesia with options, but in here you can get a low,sleek JDM odyssey with 3.5L V6 and 4WD for less than 30k. It's a no-brainer.

Yet it's sold millions in here. And I think it's an FF.

But yeah, the Innova would probably not fare well in the US unless you dump in a Camry engine and swap in an IRS setup.

My brother in-law is filipino and has a Toyota Avenza I know it's a 1.2L but I can remember if its 3 or 4 cylinders its RWD,Manual and seats 7 it's about the size of a Ford C-max maybe a little smaller.
